My 33rd birthday has come and gone.. October 27, 2012... Nothing big or spectacular lol Just figured I should mention it..
With my husband's schedule how it is, he is hardly ever home. I thought him not being deployed would be a blessing, and it is, but his hours with the instructor position are nuts and we hardly get any time together.. Yes, I'm whining.. I'm allowed =)
So, for my birthday, all I wanted was time together. Just like our anniversary. I'm a simple gal. I don't care about expensive gifts or fancy things. The memories of being with my husband and kids are more precious to me than anything in the world.

Babies 2 Boys 2 Men - Growing Up Fast
My baby boys aren't babies anymore =( While I kinda miss the cuddling that comes with the younger age, I'm glad to see them grow older. They have their typical kid moments of not wanting to do their chores and being told to clean up their room, but other than that, my boys are wonderful!
DeeJay just turned 13 in July. A teenager... He is a little interested in girls, but not too much...yet. Girls think he is cute, but he pays them no mind really. Hopefully he holds off longer LOL DeeJay is my gamer child. He loves to play all the COD games and other shooting games as well. Or "murder/death/kill" as I like to call them. DeeJay has had a love of all things army related ever since my husbands first deployment back in 2003. DeeJay had just turned 4yrs old when Darrell deployed the first time. I told him and Richie that daddy had to go to Iraq and help fight the bad guys to keep the good people their safe. DeeJay instantly wanted the little army men with guns and would play with them for hours, pretending to take down the bad guys. When he started to draw, he was drawing soldiers killing the bad guys. He wanted to be like daddy.

Happy 32nd Birthday to Me!
When I was younger I use to think - "OMG that woman is 30? She is old!" - Well, now I'm past 30yrs old and I don't feel old at all! Getting older has been great to tell the truth and I wouldn't choose to be in my teens again for anything in the world...
When you're a teenager, most of the time, you are trying to find yourself while fitting in... Lord knows you think you know everything under the sun and can't nobody tell you any different.
I feel so bad for the kids growing up now more than when I was younger...there wasn't so much emphasis on looks... being beautiful and skinny... there wasn't so much hate going around when I was younger either.. Now we see kids as young as 5th graders having eating problems b/c they think they are too fat or don't look thin enough like their fave movie star/singer.... girls hate on girls so much that we have 6th graders calling other girls whores and sluts! That didn't happen when I was a kid.
Now that I'm older, none of that applies to me. If someone were to call me a whore or a slut I'll chuckle and say "I wish!" or "Wanna watch?" - I've always got something to come back with... Someone could call me ugly or fat and that's okay... b/c as I grew with age, I grew in my love for myself... I'm confident enough that what others say doesn't bother me...
I've got great kids and a sexy, loving husband who provides very well... some of the best friends ever... an interesting lifestyle where I get to travel and meet new people all the time... and SMALLER BOOBS! - I'm living great =)
The only thing that could make me happier right now is finding a job... but I'll settle for looking at my lovely flowers that my Scentsy got me for my birthday...

Happy Birthday to my Oldest son!!
My oldest is 11 today! The time sure does fly by....Time for a labor and delivery story... =)
It was July 4, 1999 and we were watching fireworks from my grandma's porch. I felt something "funny" going on in my belly, but at the time I had no idea that my labor had started. I didn't think anything of it because he wasn't due for 2 more weeks. All that night and the next day I felt "funny".
My poor husband had to go into work on the 5th extra early because he was the opening manager. After working all day long, he then had to stay and close because the closing manager couldn't come in. He finally came home at like 2am after being at work since 4am. He was so tired and I still feel bad, lol.
He came home and got in bed. I kept tossing and turning and getting up to use the bathroom. He asked me was I alright and I believe I told him yes. Then, I got up to go to the bathroom again because I kept having this feeling like I needed to go, really bad. I came out of the bathroom about a half hour later and my mom came out of her room. She asked was I okay and I told her I thought I was having the baby. So we got out all my books and magazines and sat on the couch looking at the "signs" of labor. We decided to head to the ER. My mom had the privilege of telling Darrell "get your ass up we're having a baby". LOL. He had only been asleep for an hour!
Thank goodness the hospital was only around the corner because the car ride was horrible! Every little bump in the road was magnified by 100! Going over the railroad tracks was no party either.
They got me checked in and Darrell called his parents. His dad was so nervous and asked, "what do you wear to this kind of thing?". I was so happy when they got there. My mother-in-law stayed in with me and so did Darrell and my mom. My MIL helped keep everyone calm and stopped my husband for making a dash for the chinese place at 3:30am!
I wish I had been brave enough to get an epidural with my first one because what they gave me only made me feel high. I hated the way demoral made me feel. I was still in pain, but loopy. When DeeJay was born, it didn't even register with me that he wasn't breathing. He had the cord wrapped around his neck 3 times and I had no idea the severity of it because the demoral had me so wasted. Thankfully, he was okay.
So, now my baby is 11 and growing up so fast. Looks just like his daddy and tries to be like him too.
I was 8 months pregnant here with DeeJay at our senor prom ~

Happy Birthday America!
Independence Day, commonly known as July 4th or the Fourth of July, commemorates the Continental Congress’ adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. The document, primarily written by Thomas Jefferson, served as a formal announcement that the 13 American colonies were no longer part of the British Empire and would henceforth be free and independent states.
