Santa's not Real, I'm the Devil!

I was participating in a post on Facebook and the question was about telling your children if Santa was real or not. When I was little, I believed in Santa. When I found out he wasn't real, I was heartbroken. I hated that I was lied to about it. So I made the decision to not lie to my kids.

My kids know all about the spirit of Christmas and the stories of Santa Claus. They know that there was once a man named St. Nick who gave gifts to children. They love all the Christmas movies, including the ones about Santa..they love all the Christmas songs.. They also know about some pagan traditions when it comes to Christmas and they know the beliefs of Christmas from the Christian point of view. We read "Twas the Night Before Christmas" and the Story of the birth of Jesus. My children are well rounded when it comes to this.

Teddys From The Troops PR Update!

I'm so excited and pleased at how much my Product Review and Give-a-way helped "Teddy's From The Troops"! Here are some "stats" from "Teddy's From The Troops":

People talk all the time how they come across these dramatic women in groups who take things to real life and such... I have not had that pleasure... until today.

There was a girl talking about some chick who wouldn't stop texting her and wouldn't leave her alone. She was basically talkin' crap and just wouldn't stop.

We all need friends!

"Question of the Day: How long did it take you to make friends at your current duty station?"

It didn't take me long at all once I moved on post. I had already know my friend Sharon off a group on myspace that we were in together. One day we started talking when I told her I would help her with her son until she found a permanent baby sitter. We became pretty close. She works a lot and her hubs is home now so I don't see her as much, but I love her to death still =)

I also met my bestie, Staci, through the internet, kinda. Our mutual friend Aimee (who I knew from the same group as Sharon) asked me if I would help her when she came to Stewart because it was their first duty station. Would I help? Of course!! I was there the day the movers were and I never left! LOL...

Mistie was also in the same group on myspace, so I knew her a little but finally met her in person here... sweet gal who will do anything for you if she can, but don't cross her!! Just know, I will always stay on Mistie's good side lol =)

I met Fran through facebook when I was doing a jewelry party and she wanted to come but couldn't. So she ordered anyway and we started talking. She is so good to me and I love that gal!!

Jennifer was found on facebook too lol... don't know if it was mutual friends or my army wives page, but she was stalking me...taking pictures with my car and being silly, before I actually met her! LOL...now we're cool, she is my homie and I supply her crack ((Scentsy)) hahaaa...

Then there is Dee, who is Staci's neighbor and another Jennifer (who left) that was Staci's neighbor...

I could go on, but I won't... I'm an outgoing person and I need friends, I hate being alone. I make sure I meet people so I'm never alone long! lol

Tischer's Troops on Facebook ~ please read =)

I got a message the other day and I'm sharing this with everyone. I have joined the group I'm about to link and I have asked that my name be added to the note they are sending to facebook. Here is part of the message I received:

"I have a group called TISCHER'S TROOPS and our mission is to advocate for all individuals with "diff-abilities" and Down syndrome. We are on multiple missions but right now one of them is on FB to STOP the CYBER-BULLYING against individuals with Ds and disabilities. We were wondering if you all would be willing to sign our letter which is posted on group. I know there are a lot Army families who deal with autism, ADHD, Down syndrome and so and their loved are unfortunately being made fun of on FB and we want to stop it! Somehow we hope to make a difference! The letter is long and I know some pages don't really want individuals to post letters like the one we have written on their pages so we thought we would ask. Let us know. Thanks!"

I told them to add my name to the letter and I hope you will join and do the same =)

How many pages do I have?!!

Are people so concerned with how many pages I made on facebook? Is it really that serious? Well, let's answer that question....

I have *Army Wives Do It With Hooah*........ this my "baby"...the page I post most on...and Marissa is my wonderful Co-mod.

I also made *Army Wives Do It With Hooah* - Gettin' fit & fab..... that page I don't post on so much but I have too other mods on it.

I made Dearest Deployment ~ Kiss My Ass.... I don't post much there either, but my awesome mod Kira does =)

I made Separated by duty: United by love.... I post there sometimes, but not much... I have 3 other mods there who post, Audrey & Shana & Julie =)

I am a co-mod on 2 other peoples pages, Moms of Military Brats and Free Speech Debates.

Now, why is this ridiculous? I'm just curious. I don't have a job, my job is being a SAHM for now. My kids all go to school all day long and as long as my house is clean and the things that need to be taken care of are done, I see no problem with spending my free time online doing what I please. Do I really bother some people this much that they worry about what I do online? I could be out hookin' around and spending all kinds of money while my husband is away, but instead I chose to do something constructive like help others. Man, someone should shoot me b/c I'm horrible =)


 Update - I now only have *Army Wives Do It With Hooah* - I got rid of the others (except fit & fab, but I don't post on there). Too time consuming, especially with AWDIWH growing. - 8/7/2012


So, instead all these bitches being haters they should take prozac and be happy =)
