Back to School! = Happy Mom

Last week we had the kids open houses and school started this week. Tomorrow will be the first day that all three kids are back in school. Getting up at 6am is totally worth it for a day of peace and quiet. I love my kids, but it's gonna be nice to have the day to myself.

Breast Reduction - Part 8 *1st Post-op Appt*

Yesterday was my first post-op appointment, only 5 days after my surgery. It took longer to drive there than it did for the doctor to check me out! lol

All he did was look over my incisions and said they were healing well. He also dabbed some liquid on them to help with the bruising. I will admit.... THAT SHIT HURT!... it burned and it burned for about an hour!! I was not a happy camper lol..

I have another appointment next week and that is when I'll be able to get my scar guard and start using it.

Am I still sore? yes
Does it look like I have Frankentits? yes
Am I happy I did it? YES!! and YES again!

No regrets at all and I'm just anxious to finish healing... /update =)

What's happening?

Well, let me tell you!

I've been kinda busy with the kids out of school now... gonna be a long summer! Eh, maybe not, my daughter, who just turned 6 this month, will be going back to NJ with her Nana and Popop for a month. They are down visiting for a few days. Today we went over and had lunch at Paula Deen's place - Lady and Sons - she is fabulous!!!! I even got a purple pen from her store =)

Several happy moments to give a mention to:

My besties hubs came home about a week ago!! Welcome home Eddie, Jorge and Travis!! I missed you all picking on me ;)

My husbands friends from High School, whom I knew too but weren't really friends with them, got married!! Congrats!! May you have many wonderful years together!

June 29th will be our anniversary... married for 9yrs!!! Is it time to trade him in yet? We've been together for 15yrs now, I think I need a newer model!! hahaaha I kid, I kid...

And a big CONGRATS to me!!! I started selling Scentsy in May, well I signed up in the end of April, but... lol... I've been doing great so far!

& I have made Lead Consultant in June 2011 - but it won't show up until July =)

In May, I sold over $2,ooo!!! So, I got an extra 5% commission on top of the regular commission plus a sweet charm bracelet with a dollar sign charm to go on it!! (a monthly sales award)

So far, I'm at Scentsational Start Award - level 2 for my first 70 days and I think that is where I'm gonna stay, which is great!! I will get Purple Scentsy Scentsational Start Lapel Pin & $125 free product & a Certificate of Achievement!

I have also qualified for the first month of the summer sales incentive where the consultants who qualify get a special warmer for FREE!!!

So, I'm really excited about all this and looking to do great things with it!

In a few days I have an appt with my doctor to get a referral for a breast reduction. I'm hoping this goes the way I want because these "bad boys" have got to go!!! My back and shoulders can't take it anymore!!! Send positive thoughts my way please =)

So, I think that's about it... oh, my boys have birthdays this summer and I will officially be the mother of a pre-teen... Time flies and I'm not sure I'm ready for this challenge!! LOL

How many pages do I have?!!

Are people so concerned with how many pages I made on facebook? Is it really that serious? Well, let's answer that question....

I have *Army Wives Do It With Hooah*........ this my "baby"...the page I post most on...and Marissa is my wonderful Co-mod.

I also made *Army Wives Do It With Hooah* - Gettin' fit & fab..... that page I don't post on so much but I have too other mods on it.

I made Dearest Deployment ~ Kiss My Ass.... I don't post much there either, but my awesome mod Kira does =)

I made Separated by duty: United by love.... I post there sometimes, but not much... I have 3 other mods there who post, Audrey & Shana & Julie =)

I am a co-mod on 2 other peoples pages, Moms of Military Brats and Free Speech Debates.

Now, why is this ridiculous? I'm just curious. I don't have a job, my job is being a SAHM for now. My kids all go to school all day long and as long as my house is clean and the things that need to be taken care of are done, I see no problem with spending my free time online doing what I please. Do I really bother some people this much that they worry about what I do online? I could be out hookin' around and spending all kinds of money while my husband is away, but instead I chose to do something constructive like help others. Man, someone should shoot me b/c I'm horrible =)


 Update - I now only have *Army Wives Do It With Hooah* - I got rid of the others (except fit & fab, but I don't post on there). Too time consuming, especially with AWDIWH growing. - 8/7/2012
