Military Spouse Community - Build Eachother Up, Stop Tearing Eachother Down

I've been contemplating on a post like this for a while and finally decided to do it. I've been a part of the military spouse community on the internet for at least 6 years now...from Myspace to Facebook. In the beginning of my "myspace days" I will admit, I was a pretty big bitch. We had our group where the new spouses would come in and we would literally attack. I won't say all the things we did, but we were horrible and looking back I'm ashamed of my behavior. I'd like to think that I'm making up for all of the stupid things I did by helping spouses now.

My "Baby" is now 7yrs old!

I can't believe Alexis is now 7yrs old! Since June 1st she had been counting down the days to her birthday. I won't lie, it was a little annoying lol every morning, "Moooommmmm, guess whaaat?!! X days until my birthday!!" LOL

I'm an Army Wife- I eat all day, spend ALL my husbands money & neglect my kids =)

This woman posted this on my page, in reference to military spouses - "You people are retarded...I've forgotten more shit about the army life and deployments then you will ever know. Go back to doing what you do best...eating and spending your husbands money on stupid shit and neglecting your children." - a former soldier

Armed Forces Day Kids Run - Fort Stewart, GA - 5/19/2012

I woke up bright and early on Saturday morning around 7am. My daughter had slept in bed with me and rolled over to remind me it was the 19th, "Mom, do I really have to run half a mile today?"

Breastfeeding in Uniform?

I'm an avid supporter of breastfeeding and I don't mind breastfeeding in public. However, I think there are things that just might cross the line. A female service member breastfeeding in uniform might be one. I'm not completely sure how I feel about it, I kinda have mixed feelings.

Not really...I'm just gonna vent a little bit. Feel free to disagree with me at any time, that's your right =)

Why is it that when the spouse of a service member complains they are called ungrateful? Okay, you may not say "you're being ungrateful" but saying "you should be grateful" is basically the same thing.
