Unfortunately I was unable to attend the Press and Media conference call, BUT they were gracious enough to provide me with a transcript! The transcript is 27 pages long so I will not post all of it, but will share some of the questions and answers.
From my previous post about Stars Earn Stripes we learned that Military Operatives would be working with celebrities to compete in competitions inspired by real military exercises. They compete for money to be donated to several different charities that benefit our military service members and their families.

My Personality Test
On Twitter someone I follow asked if anyone had taken a personality test. I don't recall ever taking one myself so I googled and found one. It was 41 questions and I have to say it described me pretty well when the results came up.

Poet's Day - 8/21/2012 A few of my Faves & Personal Ones
Today is "Poet's Day". In honor of "Poet's Day" I'm going to share a few of my fave poems and a few personal ones. I first got into poetry during my 7th grade Literature and Writing class. I began writing poems as a release for my emotions when I felt I had no one to talk to. My Aunt Sharon bought me a book to keep them in and I still have it, battered and worn....

Vodka Slushies - Yum!
While browsing google I came across this gem! It looks good and I love vodka! So, I'm sharing for the other vodka lovers out there. I think I'll try this out next weekend if I can and I'll share my results.

My Eye "Issues"
A few weeks ago I woke up and my vision was funny. My right eye was blurry and my left eye seemed like I had a gray veil over it. If I focused on something, I could see it clearly but I couldn't see around it. So I made an appt with an eye doctor.

Starbucks Rumor Strikes Again! =)
Today I went to Starbucks to get one of my fave drinks... a Caramel Frappuccino! I've been super stressed out this week so I decided to treat myself. They were awesome and gave me tons of caramel, just how I like it! I shared a pic of my drink on *Army Wives Do It With Hooah* and someone brought up the old rumor, once again...

Babies 2 Boys 2 Men - Growing Up Fast
My baby boys aren't babies anymore =( While I kinda miss the cuddling that comes with the younger age, I'm glad to see them grow older. They have their typical kid moments of not wanting to do their chores and being told to clean up their room, but other than that, my boys are wonderful!
DeeJay just turned 13 in July. A teenager... He is a little interested in girls, but not too much...yet. Girls think he is cute, but he pays them no mind really. Hopefully he holds off longer LOL DeeJay is my gamer child. He loves to play all the COD games and other shooting games as well. Or "murder/death/kill" as I like to call them. DeeJay has had a love of all things army related ever since my husbands first deployment back in 2003. DeeJay had just turned 4yrs old when Darrell deployed the first time. I told him and Richie that daddy had to go to Iraq and help fight the bad guys to keep the good people their safe. DeeJay instantly wanted the little army men with guns and would play with them for hours, pretending to take down the bad guys. When he started to draw, he was drawing soldiers killing the bad guys. He wanted to be like daddy.

Back to School! = Happy Mom
Last week we had the kids open houses and school started this week. Tomorrow will be the first day that all three kids are back in school. Getting up at 6am is totally worth it for a day of peace and quiet. I love my kids, but it's gonna be nice to have the day to myself.

Inquiring Minds Want To Know (small rant)
Today I saw two things that just kind of boggled me. One was in a group on Facebook and the other was on my Facebook page - *Army Wives Do It With Hooah*
The first thing I saw, that was in the group, was a woman posted a picture that had a little rhyme that said something like "twinkle twinkle little whore, close your legs they're not a door". Well someone commented on it saying this girl was a hypocrite b/c she supposedly said she had previously cheated on her husband (as revenge for him cheating on her).
