"Stars Earn Stripes" (premiers 8/13 at 8/7C on NBC)

I'm excited to share what I got via E-mail today!! I had no clue about this new show coming up, but I'm glad I do now.

Stars Earn Stripes  premiers on Aug. 13th at 8/7C on NBC. The show will follow 8 celebrities, who will be at a remote training facility, and are challenged to execute complicated missions inspired by real military exercises. The hosts of the show - Samantha Harris & General Wesley Clark

The Military Operatives are: Andrew Mclaren, Brent Gleeson, Chris Kyle, Dale Comstock, Grady Powell, J.W. Cortes, Talon Smith & Tom Stroup.

The celebrities are: Laila Ali (daughter of boxing legend Muhammad Ali), Dean Cain (known for his popular role in Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman), Terry Crews (we love him from Everybody Hates Chris), Nick Lachey (singer from 98 Degrees), Todd Palin (husband of former governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin) , Dolvett Quince (a body sculptor who can be seen on The Biggest Loser) & Eve Torres (one of my son's favorite WWE Diva).

The celebrities will be accompanied by members of the U.S. Military to compete in the competitions. During each challenge, the celebrities will compete for cash prizes on behalf of their selected charities.

The charities include:
Military Child Education Coalition
Wounded Warrior Project
The Pat Tillman Foundation
The Badge of Honor Memorial Foundation
Armed Services YMCA of Alaska
Hiring Our Heroes
Got Your 6
United Services Organization (USO)

These organizations have partnered with the show to help shed light on what the U.S. Armed Forces face on a daily basis in order to protect us and our country.

Please share and get the word out to others to watch some healthy competition for organizations we, as military families, hold dear to our hearts!

I'm also asking one more thing - If you could ask these celebrities or military participants a question or two about their experience with the show or in general, what would you ask? Please leave your question in the comments and I will write them down. (Wouldn't it be great if I got to interview one of them?)
