My name is Jamie. My husband and I met in the 10th grade and have been inseparable ever since. My husband joined the Army in 2002 to help others and to take care of his family. We have 3 children who are the center of our world.
We have lived in Kansas, Colorado, Texas and Georgia. I wasn't sure I would like moving around so much, but it has grown on me. I always try to find something positive about each duty station we are at so that I don't focus on negativity.
Deployments are like second nature to us now and I have learned to cope with them very well. They don't really get easier with the more you go through, but you learn how to better handle them from previous experiences. We've been separated for birthdays, anniversaries, Thanksgivings, Christmas....you name it, we missed it!
My hope with my blog is to share my experiences and give support to others. I love being helpful so I also post information I find. Thanks a bunch for reading!!
